1989 - The Beginning
Mark and Lisa Haag founded the Federal Wage and Labor Law Institute (FWLLI) in 1989 to help small businesses with labor law compliance, feeling defenseless against the Department of Labor (DOL). At that time, many businesses paid fines for unknowingly committed violations without questioning why. FWLLI defended these businesses, saved them thousands of dollars, and established procedures to prevent future fines.2024 - The Future
In 2024 OutSolve acquired FWLLI in a strategic acquisitions that was transformative for the industry. It offers customers a new, smarter way to manage compliance requirements, allowing them to incorporate labor law posters into a comprehensive suite of compliance solutions through a single provider.
The integration of OutSolve services into FWLLI’s portfolio is expected to deliver significant value to clients, providing them with access to a broader suite of tools and resources to ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
